In today’s printing industry, there are a variety of impurities that become mixed into ink such as fiber, wastepaper, iron fillings and other debris. These then decrease the cell volume of rolls, and degrade printing quality. The same impurities will damage roll surface and decrease the normal production life of the roll.

MagBar has a unique construction design, including a strong magnetic force that will adsorb most iron filings in ink. Buy removing impurities, the Magbar prevents roll damage, protects cells, and extends roller life. ***It also can be used in other coating applications.

The Dovey Magbar is mainly used in the ink system of Gravure and Flexo presses, adsorbing iron filings and oxide. The design is beyond tradition. The removal method used by the Magbar extends the absorbing area and makes it more effective. In each end of the tube, there is one empty magnetic field, making it simple to remove the absorbed filings.

Magbar Application

1. MagBar can be installed easily by hooking same onto the back lip of the ink pan.
2. Take the MagBar off of the ink pan, and remove iron filings/debris with ease.
